According to luxury-insider ”The Charms watch is very charming indeed but it takes its name from the Alhambra charm that dangles seductively from the case. Van Cleef & Arpels turned the Alhambra motif they created in 1968 into a talisman of sorts (the proverbial lucky charm) and set it off against the case of this model, creating the Charms watch. Now in a 25mm diameter model, it is available in white gold and pink gold, both versions with two diamond setting options – two rows of diamonds, separated by a larger band of precious metal, or two rows of diamonds, separated by another larger row of diamonds. Of course, the Alhambra motif is itself decorated with diamonds.
